At West Pak Avocado, we believe that food has the power to nourish not only bodies but entire communities. That’s why we were proud to donate 36,000 avocados to Spring Harvest 2025, a powerful event powered by the Allgire Foundation that delivers fresh, healthy food directly to affordable housing residents across San Diego.
The 2025 event marked our second year contributing to the North County based initiative, and it was incredible to witness the continued growth, energy, and impact of this community-driven effort.
Led by the Allgire Foundation & Allgire General Contractors, Spring Harvest 2025 brought together over 450 volunteers to assemble and deliver more than 18,000 care packages to 200+ affordable housing communities throughout the region. In total, more than 250,000 pieces of produce were distributed, including our avocados, which were packed with care and delivered with love.
Seeing our avocados included in these vibrant deliveries was especially meaningful. We know the importance of access to fresh, nutrient-rich food, and we’re honored to be part of the solution in addressing food insecurity, especially for families and individuals who need it most.
One community partner shared, “This was, without a doubt, the best-run Spring Harvest ever.” Another reached out to say, “Thank you again for your generous donation! We are appreciative of your continual support and dedication in providing nutritious food to our residents.” Such feedback speaks volumes about the power of collaboration and the importance of being consistent in supporting local communities.
Spring Harvest continues to inspire us—not only as a produce provider but as a committed community partner. We look forward to supporting this incredible effort for years to come and remain dedicated to making a tangible impact, one avocado at a time.
