Just back from West Coast Produce Expo in Palm Springs, California where the team has reported a great turnout at West Pak’s booth. In attendance was Sales Representative Susie Rea, Sales and Business Development Josh Estebane, and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Doug Meyer.

“We recognized an increased interest in smaller fruit due to consumer and market demand for single-serving avocados,”  Meyer observed. “There was also a lot of interest in our I Love Avocados brand program, which has been gaining momentum steadily since its launch in 2016. In addition, we’re finding that bagged avocado demand is sustaining its strength and will continue to do so throughout 2018 and well beyond.”

“In addition to a lot of new and innovative packaging for both fruits and vegetables, there was a fair amount of buzz surrounding California Avocado season,” added Rea. “Retailers seemed confident again to run promotions through the summer months.”
